Refund Policy Relative to the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico

Pelican Shore Cottages

We at Pelican Shore Cottages are aware that future guests are concerned about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The experts tell us that the path of the "Loop Current" in the Gulf is expected to keep any oil from the BP accident roughly 200+ miles from our Manasota Key shoreline. But, we are aware also that Nature is unpredictable.

Most importantly, Pelican Shore Cottages wishes to provide you with as fair & enjoyable a stay as possible. Therefore, our refund policy relative to the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico is as follows:

If the beach is closed by the county or state authorities before your arrival and you choose to cancel, a full refund of your deposit will be issued.

If the beach is closed after your arrival, and you leave early, a refund will be
issued on unused nights.

If the beach has been closed prior to arrival or during your stay, and you choose to remain at Pelican Shores, a 15% discount per day will be given each day the beach is closed.
